So i'm thinking of going to the movies to catch V for vandetta. I'm thinking that it could swing either way....fantastically good or spectacularily bad. I'm counting on the fact that Natalie Portman hasn't really starred in any awful movies...
On another note, I'm watching the first wives' club. hehehe. cheeseball flicks are a guilty pleasure.
has anyone read any Neal Stephenson?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
So much work and so little time. I need a time turner. I need a martini. A time turner and a martini...or two...or five.

1- Is virginity overrated? It's a legitimate question, albeit a personal one.
2- Funny how in North America, Sex is dual-faceted : taboo and yet the fuel of the commercial world. Celebrities, movies, music videos and the list goes one use sex (subtlety is key) as the tool of their trade and if not, they will at one time or another be categorized as a sex symbol.
BUT
Campaign ads, posters, commercials that promote sexual awareness rarely make it to the school hallways, where it should be within reach of students. Can someone explain that to me??? More and more cases of STDs/HIV/AIDS are found within the student demographic, and yet School Boards find it improper to flaunt ads that promote the use of protection and contraceptives. OMG! Teenage pregnancy is at an ultimate high! really? NO WAY!?! And teens at more risk of becoming HIV+ you say?? But we told them to abstain!
gah. *bangs head against desk*
3- Tuition Freeze is almost at an end (september 06) in Ontario... Get ready for a ridiculous 8% fee hike in University Education AND OSAP (scolarships and grants) get to keep a cap on their budget (higher fees...same amounts of loans). Senseless in a supposedly Knowledge Based Economy that tries to EMPHASIZE on education. Honestly, and this comes after the College professors declared to strike, and to what purpose? Not to mention that of course, once again the students get screwed seeing as they won't be refunded for the time lost, even and especially if they lose their semester.
I'll rant some more on gun control soon enough...
bargh.

I saw this film online a couple of days ago and the cinematography is exceptional. This film really reminded me of how much I've missed the sight of Sean.
